Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter provides emergency shelter along with 24-hour crisis assistance, support programs, and counselling for women and children escaping violence. Our holistic shelter programs help women and children to break free from violence, heal from trauma, and ultimately rebuild their lives free from violence and abuse.
Since we opened our doors 35 years ago, we have supported over 4,200 women and 4,500 child and youth clients.
